Ventoplani at the Wind Europe annual event 2026

Ventoplani took part in the WindEurope Annual Conference, the Europe’s leading event for the wind energy sector.

Our participation began with the final workshop of the MERIDIONAL project, where Filippo Trevisi presented the key results achieved by POLIMI during the research project. The session was held together with AIRE Project and FLOW Project, showcasing WindLab, benchmarking models, and test cases on wind energy performance.

The conference also gave visibility to airborne wind energy through a dedicated roundtable involving research, industry, and policy leaders. Discussions highlighted the financial pathways for supporting emerging technologies.

For Ventoplani, the event was the opportunity to introduce our technology, receiving strong interest, and to discuss out how windplanes can contribute to the European security, competitiveness and prosperity. Most importantly, WindEurope Annual Event 2026 allowed us to create valuable new connections with researchers, companies, and stakeholders interested in future collaborations.
