Ventoplani wins the POLIMI's start-up competition Switch2Product


Ventoplani has been selected among the winning projects of Switch2Product (S2P), the innovation program promoted by Politecnico di Milano, PoliHub, to transform research results and technological ideas into high-potential startups.
Chosen among 181 evaluated projects, Ventoplani was one of nine teams awarded a €30,000 grant to accelerate the development of its technology and business model.
Presented by Filippo Trevisi and Lorenzo Fagiano, Ventoplani is developing a new generation of wind energy systems based on tethered aircraft capable of producing electricity with significantly lower material use than conventional wind turbines. The technology aims to make renewable energy more sustainable, scalable, and accessible.
As part of the award, the team will join a three-month incubation program focused on technology advancement, market validation, and business strategy, with the support of dedicated mentors and startup experts.
